I’m Paul Salley, founder of CASTAFLY Outdoor Adventures, husband, father, and a guy who believes some of life’s best moments happen far from the noise of everyday life.

Originally from Southwest Kansas, I now call the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas home. Somewhere along the way, exploring small creeks, chasing trout and smallmouth, and sharing time on the water became more than just a hobby. It became a passion for the people, places, and stories that make every adventure worth remembering.

In 2020, I started CASTAFLY with a simple idea: share the journey, bring people together, and inspire others to get outside and GET LOST. I’m not the guy who makes every cast or catches every fish, and that’s never been the point. For me, the real reward is in the friendships made, the lessons learned, and the memories created along the way.

Through CASTAFLY, I hope to build a community that celebrates adventure, protects the waters we love, and reminds people that sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down, disconnect, and experience the outdoors.

I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors. Some of my favorite memories come from fly fishing with my dad, exploring new waters, and tying my own flies.

As the Outdoor Media Specialist for CASTAFLY Outdoor Adventures, I get to combine my love for fly fishing, photography, and videography to capture and share our adventures on the water.

For me, it’s about more than catching fish. It’s about spending time outdoors, making memories, and inspiring others to discover the adventure and beauty of fly fishing.
