Summer Fishing Session On The Fly and Chasing Bass in Low Water

Well, this episode is short and sweet. I didn’t have a ton of time, and honestly, I didn’t feel like being out there too long on one of these brutally hot summer days in the Ozarks.

The creeks are low, the flow is weak, and the fish are hunkered down in deeper, cooler water. It makes for tough fishing—but that doesn’t mean you should stay home. You gotta hunt!

I picked out a few spots to hit and managed to fish two of them early in the morning before the heat really set in. Then I saved a third spot—a brand-new location for me—to explore. I had a hunch the water would be better there, and I was right.

Like I said, this one’s a quick trip. I appreciate all your support—it means the world to me. I hope you’re taking some time to get outside yourself. Slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy what nature gives us. Good luck out there, stay hydrated and thanks for watching! -Paul
